Day 1: Transfer to Lake Mburo NP and Boat Trip

Our driver guide will pick you up from any location in Kampala or Entebbe International Airport. You will be transferred to Lake Mburo National Park, 230 kilometers away from Kampala city. This is a scenic journey with some of the greatest views of physical features including swamp, forest, hills and others. You will have lunch enroute before you enter the park. Check in at your lodge before heading for the boat trip on Lake Mburo. This lake offers an opportunity to spot a variety of colorful bird and deadly mammal species like crocodiles and hippos. Plenty of bird species can be seen as well, especially reed cormorant, hadada ibis, shoebill and great white pelican etc. Return to your lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Morning Game Drive and Return to Kampala

Have an early morning breakfast before you go for a game drive across the savannah woodlands in the park. Through the car’s pop-up roof, view elands, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, warthogs, waterbucks, bushbucks and hyenas and hippos among others. There are also a lot of bird species to see during the game drives in Lake Mburo NP. You can watch the helmeted guineafowl, lesser jacana, gray crowned crane, handsome spurfowl, Senegal coucal and African swift. Drive back to Kampala with enroute lunch guaranteed during the journey.
